Taylor Turns 2!

Last Friday was Taylor's second Birthday. We decided to have her party on Sunday September 1st which is Cole James birthday since we would be out of town. One day we will be able to have their parties together. Sorry Cole, we missed you on your birthday! We hope you had a great one!

Clint and I decided to throw Taylor a party since we didn't have one for her first birthday. Her birthday party theme was cows since she loves them. Here is a picture of her invite.

These are some things I want to remember of her at this age. She loves cows, her dolls, playing in her kitchen, pushing her babies around in her stroller, taking care of her babies, putting her dress up shoes on and loves to cuddle with her daddy. She says so many words its crazy. Her new word at the moment is " awesome". She loves kids and makes friends with anyone she sees. She will go up to random people and want them to hold her hand and or pick her up which is scary. She has such a fun personality. She likes to smell her feet and kiss every ones booboos. She loves to give you kisses which are always followed by hugs. She will sit in her crib in the morning and go through saying the words she knows like " mommy, daddy, baby, feet, " etc. Its so funny to listen to her on the monitor. She loves pizza, broccoli, oranges, blueberries, apples, peas, pasta, oatmeal, pancakes. She's not too picky but I have to put her veggies first or she will eat all the bread and pasta first and want more. If it was up to her she would eat oatmeal for every meal.

She is currently weighing 24 lbs which is 23%  and is 34 in which is 73 %. The doctor says she is at average height and her weight is fine. He is not concerned and is growing well. She still looks so petite compared to others her age. Oh well :-)

Here are some pictures from her party.

The cow cupcakes I made.

Uncle Frank gets Married

On August the 3rd my older brother Frank got married. We were all in the wedding and Taylor was a flower girl. She did a great job. We bribed her with gummy bears but she ended up giggling going down the aisle while she helped the older flower girl throw flowers. Here are some pictures. I'm hoping to post better ones once I get some of the professional ones that were taken.

They had a photo booth which was a ton of fun. We were able to dress up and take some pictures.

We are definitely happy to have a new addition to our family. Congrats Frank and Samantha!

Goodbye to the Paci

For the last couple of weeks we have been talking to Taylor about giving her pacifiers to Emma our Goddaughter.  We have been telling her that she is a big girl and only babies need pacifiers. She only uses them at nap time or when she goes to bed but we need to get rid of them. It worked out perfect because Trinity, Emma's older sister was having a birthday party on Sunday the 18th. So for the entire week before we talked over and over again about giving them to Emma. I put all the pacifiers I could find in a little baggie and that night before we left Taylor gave each one a kiss and hug. She put each one in her mouth and then gave them to Emma. It was really cute because Emma doesn't use pacifiers but she went right ahead and began chewing on one of them. It was perfect. I told her " See Emma needs them" and that was that. On the ride home she asked for them a couple times but Clint and I reminded her that she gave them to Emma. It went better than I expected. She woke up a little earlier for the next couple of days but it wasn't too bad. I meant to get a picture of her saying goodbye to them but I wasn't able to. :-(

Here is the one picture I could find of her with her pacifier. No more paci's as of August the 18th ! YAY!

Coast Trip

A couple of weeks ago we went to the coast and met Grandpa and Omie at Mustang Towers in Port Aransas, TX.  We were able to take Great Grandma Ciomperlik with us and we had lots of fun.

Taylor loves the beach.

We both enjoyed our trip to Port A. Thanks Grandpa and Omie for inviting us! We can't wait till  Logan and Cole can join the Port A beach trips. Hurry back to Texas!

Summer Fun

The summer as flown by. I can't believe its August already. Here are some pictures from this summer.

Taylor loves the pool. She has no fear which is scary but she loves to swim and splash around. I took her to lessons in June and she loved it. She learned to grab onto the edge and monkey to the steps, kick and use her arms, blow bubbles under water, and just get more comfortable in the pool.

Here is a picture from swim class.

This was one of the first trips to the coast this summer.

18 months

Taylor is growing so fast. On March 12, 2013 just a couple days after she turned 18 months Taylor had her check up. She was 31.5 in tall, weight was 21 lbs and her head circumference was 47.6 cm. She is in the 45% for height, 8% for weight, and 78% for head circumference. She is still smaller than most kids her age but she is healthy and that is all that matters. :-)

Here are some 18 months pictures.

She still has a little bruise on her head from when she fell and hit her head on the corner of the door.

It was super cold the day she had taken these pictures and so we didn't get a lot of good pictures. So we rescheduled and these are the pictures we had taken a couple of weeks later. Here she is almost 19 months old.

Taylor absolutely loves COWS!!!! Everything is cow moo! She loves to play with her babies and will wrap them up in a blanket and feed them and pat them which is super cute. She eats pretty much anything or will at least try everything we put in front of her. She loves broccoli and cheese together, cheerios, and Nilla wafers.
