So I've been slacking with my posts the last couple of weeks, sorry. Things have been going well. I'm definitely loving being able to stay home with Taylor. She is really starting to get a personality. She is usually pretty happy but she will let you know when she wants something. She has her moments and when she throws a fit its very hard to calm her down. She  is sleeping through the night for the most part. She'll take a couple naps in the evening then I'll usually feed her around 9 or 10, put her down to sleep and she'll sleep till 4 or 5 in the morning, eat and then she's out till around 10 or 11am. She will usually play for a couple of hours and take another nap around late lunch then she up till around 5 or so and her naps begin. I've tried putting her to sleep earlier but she ends up waking up earlier so this works for now. I tried cereal the other day but she spit it all up and she was not having it so I'll try again next week giving her some everyday and see how that goes.

Here are some recent pictures.

5 Months Old

Wow I can't believe Taylor is five months old. She is doing good., growing and getting chunky. She currently weighs around 13 lbs and is about 24 in long. Her gestational age is almost  four months. She smiles and loves to talk all the time. She has started drooling and you can tell her gums are starting to hurt her but she doesn't have any teeth yet. She definitely recognizes mommy and daddy and knows our voices. She can sit up with support, roll over from her stomach to back, and loves to put her hands in her mouth. When she is lying on her stomach she can push her arms down and bring her head up pretty high. She loves to watch TV, which we never have on any more because the moment its turned on she is glued to it.

Taylor Finds Her Tongue

Last Thursday we went to meet Kara and Brad for dinner. While Kara was playing with Taylor Kara started sticking her tongue out at her and all of sudden Taylor stuck her tongue out at Kara. It was really funny. She always plays with her tongue but has never stuck it out that far. Here is a picture.

4 Months Old

Taylor has grown so much from her 3 lbs 15 oz little body. When we took her for her 4 month check up she weighed 10 lbs 13 oz which was a little low but she had been sick the two weeks before. She was also  22.8 inches long. Doctor said everything looks good and she is growing well based on her being 2 months gestational. I weighed her this morning and it said she weighed 11.5 lbs. My scale is usually a half a pound off so I'm thinking she is around 11 pounds now. She is definitely growing . She has found her hands and likes to see if she can put her entire hand in her mouth. She also loves to smile and will smile back at you when you smile at her. She is holding up her head better and sits up with help. She also will watch and follow you around when you move. Here are some pictures.

Taylor's First New Years

Here is the one good picture I was able to get of Taylor. I also have a video but for some reason it wouldn't load so I'll have to mess with it.

Taylor's First Christmas

This Christmas was especially memorable because of our new addition to our family.Even though Taylor was still a bit too small to enjoy opening her presents Clint and I had fun opening them for her. We were very busy traveling back and forth between families but I think most of our families were able to see her. Here are some pictures.
