Napa Valley Trip

At the beginning of September Clint and I were invited on a trip to Napa and Sonoma Valley. It was amazing. We did lots of wine tasting and tours starting Friday morning all the way through Monday afternoon. We flew into San Francisco and spent four days in beautiful wine country. Here are some pictures of the trip.

This was the wine tasting we had at Simi before dinner the first night.

Anthony and Courtney, the couple who invited us. She was celebrating her 30th birthday. He works for Republic so everything was very fancy. Most of the places we went to were owned by the company he works for.  :-)

This is the house we stayed in the first night at Chalk Hill Winery.

We then met some of Anthony's friends that live in Santa Monica. They were able to hang out with us Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

We took a tour of Ravenswood.

Had a wine tasting.

We then headed to Robert Mondavi Winery where we had a tour and an amazing dinner.

Sunday we went to a couple other wineries for tasting and tours and then headed to the last house  which was owned by the Franciscan Winery. It was a beautiful plantation home.

Here are just a couple other pictures.

It was an amazing trip, I definitely want to go back again.

Taylor Turns 2!

Last Friday was Taylor's second Birthday. We decided to have her party on Sunday September 1st which is Cole James birthday since we would be out of town. One day we will be able to have their parties together. Sorry Cole, we missed you on your birthday! We hope you had a great one!

Clint and I decided to throw Taylor a party since we didn't have one for her first birthday. Her birthday party theme was cows since she loves them. Here is a picture of her invite.

These are some things I want to remember of her at this age. She loves cows, her dolls, playing in her kitchen, pushing her babies around in her stroller, taking care of her babies, putting her dress up shoes on and loves to cuddle with her daddy. She says so many words its crazy. Her new word at the moment is " awesome". She loves kids and makes friends with anyone she sees. She will go up to random people and want them to hold her hand and or pick her up which is scary. She has such a fun personality. She likes to smell her feet and kiss every ones booboos. She loves to give you kisses which are always followed by hugs. She will sit in her crib in the morning and go through saying the words she knows like " mommy, daddy, baby, feet, " etc. Its so funny to listen to her on the monitor. She loves pizza, broccoli, oranges, blueberries, apples, peas, pasta, oatmeal, pancakes. She's not too picky but I have to put her veggies first or she will eat all the bread and pasta first and want more. If it was up to her she would eat oatmeal for every meal.

She is currently weighing 24 lbs which is 23%  and is 34 in which is 73 %. The doctor says she is at average height and her weight is fine. He is not concerned and is growing well. She still looks so petite compared to others her age. Oh well :-)

Here are some pictures from her party.

The cow cupcakes I made.
