Memorial Day at the Coast

For Memorial Weekend we took Taylor to the coast. She had a lot of fun on the beach. She didn't like the water though. I think the waves scared her a bit but she loved being outside and playing in the sand. She loved the pool too.

Taylor is 8 months old

So, I'm behind on my posts. Here are some pictures of Taylor at 8 months old. She is trying her hardest to crawl but no crawling yet. She wiggles like crazy and scoots on her stomach. She can make a 360 turn by pushing her hands and scooting around. She is growing like crazy. She has her 9 month check up on Friday so I'll have to let you know how much she weighs, her height and her percentiles.

Taylor's First Trip to the Zoo

This past week some friends of mine and their babies met at the zoo. It was Taylor's first time and I think she enjoyed it. She really got excited when she saw the monkeys. Here are a couple of pictures.

This is at the main entrance.

It took a couple of pictures until we were able to get all the kids to look.

We had a good time and the weather was nice too. It was cloudy and windy which made it not so hot and the fact that we went early in the morning helped too.

Taylor is Growing!

Sorry it's been a couple of weeks since my last post. Taylor finished her swim lessons which she loved. I was never able to get the videos to post correctly so I am still working on those. She loves the water and loves to splash. She tries to blow bubbles but it's more of let's drink the water instead of blowing bubbles which is really funny. She is currently a little over 16 pounds. She has just started really eatting food like crazy. She likes everything so far except pureed green beans but will eat the green beans Clint and I make. She cut her first tooth on Clint's birthday May 12th and you can see another one coming up next to the current one. She has been a good sport about it too which is nice. Everything she gets her hands on goes into her mouth and she has been drooling like crazy. Her personality is really starting to take shape. She loves to smile and so far will go with anyone, hopefully that will keep happening.  I've noticed as long as one of us is around she is pretty good with other people. The other day at the mall she got all excitied at the man helping me at the counter and  she put her hand in the air towards him. She went right to him and just stared at him. She would look at me and then back at him. It was really cute. She loves when Clint gets home from work and will get really excitied. She'll start making noises and babble. We could of sworn the other day she said "da da"  at  him but who knows. :-)

Here are some recent pictures.

For Clint's birthday I made a sign and tried to get Taylor to hold it for a picture but she was more interested in playing  with it and putting it in her mouth.

 Her playing.

This is from when we went to Bass Pro Shop one day.

Here is a couple from around town.

Recent Pictures

Here are some recent pictures of Taylor.  She is definitely getting more and more of a personality which is really fun.

We started taking swim lessons which is very fun. She loves the water and just splashes away. Here she is ready to go.

Here she is waiting for class to start.

This is after class is over trying to get dried off. I have a couple of videos but I've had trouble trying to post them. I'll keep trying to mess with it.

7 Months Old

WOW! Taylor is 7 months old. She has grown so fast. Here are some things I want to remember. She weighs almost 15 pounds now. She is eating all kinds of food and doesn't like green beans. Hopefully we will change her mind as she gets older because we love green beans. She LOVES carrots and will start making funny noises when she eats them. She is sitting up on her own but at times she is still a bit wobbly. She gets real excited sometimes and will put her arms around my neck and start jumping. She loves to stand and wiggle around. She really likes being in her jumper and still loves her swing. She somehow always falls asleep in it.:-) She loves her baths and will splash a ton of water out of her tub. She will just splash and splash. She sleeps on her stomach with her butt in the air and snores periodically. She grabs her toys and tries to put everything into her mouth. She babbles all the time. One day we were driving and she talked to her toys the entire time we were in the car. She definitely recognizes Clint and I and loves to smile. She is rolling over both ways. She is still a drooling machine but has no teeth yet. I'm definitely enjoying being home with her especially now that she has more of a personality. She loves being outside, I can sit outside and she will just look around and watch our dog Ruger.

Here are some pictures.

Taylor's First Golf Cart Ride

While Clay, Julie and the boys were in town Clint and Uncle Clay took the kids for a ride on the golf cart. They went to the tanks and to look at the cows. Clint said Taylor just enjoyed herself looking at everything.

Here are a couple of pictures from the past couple of weeks.
