Taylor is ONE!!!

Wow!! I can't believe our little girl is one. She she definitley a blessing and we love her so much. Time goes by so quick. I remember being at the hospital visiting her and wishing she was home with us and now she is one. She is our little blessing.

Here are some things I want to remember about her at this age. She is getting into everything. Crawling all over the place, pulling up on everything and she is getting better at walking. She still likes to hold on but the babysitter says she has taken steps so we are just waiting to see it ourselves. She smiles at eveyone, loves to wave and clap, she loves food, she doesn't care for her whole milk and we are still working on that. She will only drink it if she is really thristy. She loves water and juice so I try not to give her juice very often. She loves going places and will stare at everything and everyone. She has four teeth and is cutting another one on her left side. The two top teeth are still kinda short but they are there and she likes to bite. Everything still goes into her mouth and it seems like when she cuts a tooth another one comes along right after.

 We love you so much and are truly blessed to have you in our lives. We cherish every minute we have with you and will always. You brighten our day every time you smile and we just can't get enough of you. We love you so much! Happy 1st Birthday!!!

11 Months old

So things have been crazy around here the last couple of weeks and I didn't realize I hadn't posted pictures of Taylor's at 11 months. As many of you know, I went back to work and things are just really busy. I need to get better about posting weekly and keeping things updated.

Taylor has grown so fast. Here are some things she has been doing right around her 11 month mark. On August the7th a day after she turned 11 months she cut her 3rd tooth. She was been crawling for about a good month and a half now. It took her alittle longer than normal but she is everywhere. She is clapping and waving but her clapping is really funny. She will clap the top of her hands and when she waves she will do a Miss America wild wave its everywhere. She loves food, especially manadrian oranges, chicken, really anything. So far she is not too picky. She is still smiling up a storm, she smiles all the time and at everyone its really funny. After about two days with Aunt Jan she has been clapping correctly and she even said she took a couple of steps. I still haven't seen it yet but I'm hoping to see it soon. 10 months old!!

So it has been way too long since my last post. I didn't realize I never posted Taylor's 10 month pics and now she's 11 months old. WOW!! Here is what she was doing at 10 months.

Taylor started crawling just before she turned 10 months old which is 8 months gestationally. She loves my toes I guess since my nails are painted!!! She always tries to put my toes in her mouth.Yuck! She loves cheerios, and anything she can grab goes into her mouth. She is not too picky with food, she loves table food and would rather eat what Clint and I eat over her baby food. She is always smiling and in a good mood. The only time she gets fussy is when she's hungry or she is tried. When she gets really excitied she smiles really big, smooshes her nose and makes fists. Its really funny. She has started to pull up on things and is very incwisitive with everything.. She is very tickleish and giggles when tickled. She loves going places and just stares at everything. She loves church because of the stained glass windows , loves the grocery store, the car, she just likes going places. Here are some pictures. It's very hard these days to get one that she is not moving in.

Taylor LOVES her daddy!

Taylor just loves her daddy. From the moment he gets home from work she wants him to pick her up and then she follows him around. If she is in her high chair she is constantly turning her head every direction and keeps her eye on him. She just makes the biggest smiles at him which are so cute. I'm sure he loves it because I love watching her.  Here are a couple pictures of Taylor and Clint.

Fourth of July

This was Taylor's first fourth of July and we went over to a friends house in Spring Branch to enjoy some BBQ and fireworks. Taylor loves being outside except she is a sweating machine but it doesn't seem to bother her. She loved watching the kids swimming in the pool and seeing them running around. I was a little apprehensive with the fireworks because I thought she would get scared but oh no she loved them. Our friends bought some really pretty fireworks and Taylor got all excited looking at them. She was kicking her little legs and smiling while watching them. Recent Pictures

The last couple of weeks we have been trying to stay cool since it's been so hot here. We've taken Taylor swimming a couple of times and have been hanging out with friends and family. Taylor is so funny she LOVES to smile and will smile at everyone. No matter where we are at she is smiling. She smiles at random things too which is really funny. Hopefully she'll stay happy like this.  She is trying so hard to crawl. She'll crawl for a couple of seconds and then she'll plop on the floor and do the superman or an army crawl. She has been eating lots of table food which she loves. She likes avocados, especially guacamole like daddy, peas,carrots, mash potatoes, noodles, rice, beans, and chicken. So far she hasn't been too picky with food but we will see.  Here are some recent pictures of Taylor.

When she did this it was so funny. She didn't know how to get down so she stayed like this for awhile till she figured it out.

We went for a couple of days to Brady to visit my grandparents. She was loving all the attention.

Swimming Fun

This past weekend we went over to a friends house and Clint was finally able to go swimming with Taylor. The last time we went to the coast one day the guys went fishing while the girls went to the pool and the only experience Clint has had is bath time which isn't the same. Needless to say Clint had fun with Taylor in the pool.

9 Months Old

Taylor is getting old! I can't believe she is already 9 months old. She will be one in no time. She is still on the verge of crawling. She will rock back and forth on her hands and knees so we will see when the crawling begins. I am not looking forward to baby proofing the house. :-) When I took her for her 9 month check up she weighed 15lbs 13oz, I thought she was heavier than that. Here at home the scale reads 16lbs but oh well. The doc said everything looks great she is growing right along and he has no concerns. She is 25% for weight (she's petite) and  59 % for height. They base her percentages on her gestational age which was 7 months and 7 days and being that she was 2 months early developmentally she's moving right along. We are definitely blessed to have her and just glad she's healthy.
